When you visit Central Gippsland Family Practice, you may be asked to complete a patient registration form at the reception desk. This form includes questions about your ethnic group and\/or cultural identity. Everyone belongs to a group, so all patients are asked to describe the ethnic group with which they identify.<\/span><\/p>\n                    <p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">We provide services to a diverse, multi-cultural community, and we ask patients about their language needs to ensure effective communication. Collecting ethnic data helps us to better understand the needs of patients from different groups and enables our doctors to provide more appropriate and personalised care.<\/span><\/p>\n                    <p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Ethnic data is also used to identify patients who may be at higher risk of certain conditions, as some groups are more susceptible to specific diseases.
