Results
In most circumstances, patients are required to make a follow up appointment to discuss their test results. This allows your GP to explain your results, answer any questions, and arrange appropriate follow-up care if needed.
If a result requires urgent or significant follow-up, the practice will contact you via SMS, phone or mail to arrange a review appointment.
Please note that it is each patient’s responsibility to obtain the results of any investigations performed. If you have not been contacted within seven (7) days of having a test, please phone Reception to confirm that your results have been received and to check whether a follow-up appointment is required.
Reminder and Recall System
Central Gippsland Family Practice is committed to preventative care. Our practice operates a reminder and recall system to support ongoing, comprehensive health management.
This system may use SMS, telephone calls, or postal mail to remind patients about recommended health checks, immunisations, or follow-up appointments.
If you prefer NOT to participate in the reminder and recall system, please advise Reception so that your preferences can be recorded.
