Central Gippsland Family Practice is committed to the ongoing education and training of our Doctors, Nurses and Receptionists.
As part of their professional development towards becoming specialist General Practitioners, some of our GPs may have their consultations observed by or discussed with a qualified GP medical educator.
From time to time, medical and nursing students may also be present during consultations as part of their clinical training.
Our reception team also takes part in ongoing training to ensure we provide the best possible service to our patients.
Your consent will always be requested in advance if a student or medical educator is to be present during your appointment. You have the right to decline their attendance, and this will not affect your care in any way.
If you have any questions about who may be present during your consultation, please don’t hesitate to ask a member of our reception team.
